Moving On...

Lovely Ouray was blessed with a good rain last night, ushered in by a cool front that dropped temperatures. I see fresh snow on Mount Abrams and the ridge line above the Amphitheater this morning, and a blanket of clouds spilling over the south end of town, wrapping it in mist and fog. Bobbie's recently planted deck flowers are speckled with raindrops, miniature crystal balls that shimmer and glisten and satiate thirst in a normally dry land. It is a lovely beginning to the day here in Lovely Ouray.

Crucifixion and Column

Stations of the Cross reside on the manicured grounds and gardens surrounding Saint Elizabeth's Church in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. It took five Italian sculptors forty days per station to complete each one of these emotive scenes that depict the story of Christ's crucifixion.

Following New Dreams and Old Footsteps: Finding The Balance Between Home and Road

We have been getting out, hiking, biking, and strolling Lovely Ouray's trails and lanes. It's a good feeling when Spring is packing up her bags and Summer is on the doorstep. Our mountain bikes have been getting a lot of use these past few weeks. We ride to Ridgway and beyond, on rural county backroads that hem and haw through valley pastures...greening and growing under dumb cows who know only to eat and shit, eat and shit.

A Rainy Day Muse, and Scrap Book Shots From The Artful RV Adventure

It's a beautiful day to reminisce in Lovely Ouray. Spring sprinkles. Droplets of rain cling to the Imax Windows of Mine Shack Number Two, uncertain of their fate.
