Got Snow?

Our mountains are now white-capped. It always snows in September... I shouldn't be surprised.

I'll save the snow for last; first I need to get you off Grand Mesa. One more post after this should do it. So grab a cup of coffee, find a comfy spot, and enjoy the marvelous views through our windshield.

Now go have a nice, cool, Autumnal day.

These last three shots are courtesy of Marathon Man Leonard, who just returned from a hike to Blue Lakes. And no, he didn't jump in this time... way too cold.

  4. So many exquisite photos.

Didn't you just change your blog photo to autumn. Is it time to change it to winter already?

I can see why you love it there so much.

  5. Klbexplores,
Yeeeesssssss... it's so! The snow actually dresses the mountains up. They look naked without it.
    thanks

    CowBoy Brian,
I don't think you have anything to fear... the ground is still too warm around here for snow to stick around.
    thanks!

    Gumo,
You are welcome... Thanks for mentioning that :))
    It keeps me going.

    Travel Bug,
I did just change to the Autumn Edition. But tho it will be winter here in The Crevice, it will be fall somewhere else. That's where you will find us... extending our favorite season... putting off the Winter Edition as long as possible... till like Christmas! Yeah, CHRISTMAS. :))

    Thanks for your cool comments!

  11. Jean,
We found the blinds at Lowes, but they are outdoor blinds. They look fine tho, and they do a good job on privacy as they are densely woven.... and the L D trademark tinted windows don't hurt either.
No patents here... copy all you want :))
    Good luck! and thanks.
