"Our feet may leave, but not our hearts"

"Where we love is home, home that our feet may leave, but not our hearts."  Oliver Wendell Holmes, Sr.

"I am doing this because I can. Because I deeply want to. Because my spirit is telling me to. I will follow my heart and soul on this journey. I will try not to lead and control every aspect...I will let go and follow the course intended for me."
Susan Marie Conrad,  Inside: One Woman's Journey Through the Inside Passage

"I still had an insatiable curiosity to find out what was around the next corner; I knew that that curiosity would keep the mystery alive for me, and it would sustain my forward momentum, right here, right now...moving forward in the adventure of life. Susan Marie Conrad,   Inside: One Woman's Journey Through the Inside Passage

  1. Love that first picture of you and Bobbie. Great place to be for Christmas. The southwest doesnt look like much fun right now. Nice to be sheltered back in your beautiful home.

  2. Gotta have some snow for Christmas! Looks like the beginnings of a good snowpack for the winter. Happy snowshoeing!

  3. Mark I think you and Susan Marie Conrad must be siblings from different Mothers :)

Oh God, The San Juans buried in snow.....it doesn't get any prettier than that...wish I could do that snow shoeing thru all those memorable scenes.

  4. Love those photos of all that snow with just a single track going through. It’s almost enough to make me want to experience “real” winter ; ). Chris
