Snowbank Glacade and Panorama Shots of Bullion King Lake



I forgot to download and include photos from my iPhone on the last entry, so here's a short and sweet bonus post...

Bobbie and Boonie and Coffee Girl attempt to glacade a patch of steep snow in upper Bullion King Basin. The idea is to stay on your feet and ski down, but that proved difficult in soft snow

    Years ago when I was much younger.... I climbed Mt Adams in Washington State. It took 10 hours of climbing like stairs continuously. Coming down took 2 hours as glacading down was done by pulling the pail of your jacked down to cover your butt, sit down and down you go in a track set by the person ahead of you. It was a blast until upcropping of rocks required the feet to take over.

    Okay, now I am depressed over how much effort it took me to get off one decent shot of a few little magenta paintbrushes this past weekend...Show off. ;-)
