If you live in the western United States of America you are probably aware of the impending storm blowing its way south today; wind gusts to 60 mph and rain/snow/cold spreading into our neck of the desert here in Utah. There's no place to run, no place to hide...I've checked. One would have to be an ass to complain after nearly three weeks of meteorlogical ne plus ultra.
As predawn yellow turns to pink beyond the distant La Salle Mountains silhouette, we've decided to break our boondock, pack up, and make this a travel day. So if you see a wind-tilted Lazy Daze fighting to stay in its lane across central Utah, that would be us. Pass at your own risk!
Below is our mountain bike excursion into Archs National Park via the old entrance. See ya down the road!

The wind started last night at our boondock site on Lake Mead near Valley of Fire. Didn't get much sleep!

Travel safe. We have blue skies over here in Glenwood Springs this morning, but it's supposed to hit this evening, then in force the next couople of days (snow). Your pictures make me homesick, but I hope to be back over there in a couple of weeks. Will be curious to see where you all end up this time. :)
