Just driving through town in 2 cars pulling popup campers with 8 kids made us feel really out of place! We didn't spend much time in town. :)Chris and Mindynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4134981800236544647.post-21622197971725788852015-09-16T17:18:02.425-06:002015-09-16T17:18:02.425-06:00Aspen has successfully tried to copy alpine cities...Aspen has successfully tried to copy alpine cities in Southern Germany and Austria. I visited Aspen and Breckenridge in 1996 and it probably got worse since. Disgusting! Free samples, you know, and it tasted mighty fine. Also toured the Miller brewery that day, then slept all the way back to the barracks on the bus. Maybe PBR is "reverse cool" now… like the old clunker bikes. :)<br />mark Box Canyon Blog.comhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07032055509766739436noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4134981800236544647.post-20384977869465034042015-09-16T11:42:48.995-06:002015-09-16T11:42:48.995-06:00Good Lord! Millennial beer drinkers are different from the generations that precede them. They go for the craft beers but the hipsters, and the hipster wannabes, have made PBR a beer that proclaims their counter-culture posture. PBR picked up on that and started marketing to it, so much so that it has now become mainstream and the hipsters must find something else. Who knows Coors Banquet may be the ONE. I think I was there in the early 90's and it was bad enough then. Life is too short to waste on that stuff I think, especially mine now that I am 70!
